Where to get help?

You're allowed to get help. You are no less of a person if you reach out for help. There are loads of people and services out here to support you. So if you feel like you need some support, please reach out.

NHS Direct: 111

24/7

If you need urgent help you can call 111 to speak to an expert. Support is available and you can talk to a mental health professional to get the help you need.

The Samaritans: 116 123

24 hours a day

A support system and someone to listen and help people suffering with mental health issues. It is a strictly confidential and non judgemental service, so please don't worry about that.

Women's Aid: 0808 2000 247

Supporting women to provide a safe space for all women, to build a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated. If you need help and want to talk to someone please don't hesitate to do so.

9am-6pm Mon-Fri

Supporting your mental health needs and giving you what support you may need. Strictly confidential and also gives you the resources and places to get help.

Strictly confidential, for children up to the age of 19. You can contact someone about absolutely anything.

SHOUT: Text: 85258

The first 24/7 text service, supporting anyone in a crisis. If you need help, text 85258.

YoungMinds: 0800 018 2138

Supporting young minds, whatever the issues may be. Also supports others who may know someone experiencing mental health issues, and what they can do to help, including parents and friends.

A place for people who have hit the bottom and just need someone to talk to. Support and information is given here to help.

Supporting people and providing information with people with mental health issues and those who support them people.
